Jarrod Chave has been honored with Rugby Union SA's Volunteer of the Year award, a testament to his exceptional dedication and influence in both community service and rugby. Over the past three years, Chave has been pivotal in sustaining the Uni-Bulls teams for U16 and U18 age groups, playing a vital role in advocating for and recruiting participants in rugby.

Chave’s impact extends well beyond the regular season. His significant contributions include his involvement in the off-season program "Prepare to Perform," where his enthusiasm for developing junior players has led him to push the limits of his own coaching skills while also offering crucial support to other coaches. His commitment to growth is further exemplified by his development through the Emerging Coach Course, underscoring his deep investment in both the sport and the community.

Jarrod has also been selected as an Assistant Coach for the U16s Barbarians team who will compete on the national level at the end of September against teams from Queensland, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory and Victoria.

This award not only celebrates Chave’s remarkable volunteer efforts but also highlights his positive effect on players and the broader rugby community. His dedication and passion serve as an inspiring model of effective volunteerism in sports.

Congratulations on your recognition, Jarrod.
