Burnside saw off a spirited Onkaparinga start to run away 46-5 victors in Round 4 of RUSA Premier Grade action.
The reigning champions found themselves under pressure before half time with Onkas trailing just 15-5 before Burnside's class shone through with a five-try second half.
Jordan Cetta's double led Burnside's try-scoring contingent with Tautiaga Eteuati, Tony Barker, Kai Rahui, Keanu Eliepa, Lachlan English and Max Hodell also finding the chalk.
Onkas' Blake Bruse-Hall was his side's sole scorer, beating two defenders and touching down out wide following a strong break from Tom Knauer in the 21st minute.
The result puts Burnside (13 points) in second place behind unbeaten Old Collegians (14 points), who enjoyed the bye alongside Adelaide University.
In other Premier Grade results, Woodville secured a hard-fought 27-22 win over Barossa while Brighton posted 11 tries in a 71-31 thrashing of Southern Suburbs.
Nikki Kelly's 18-point haul helped Burnside to a handsome 33-12 victory over Onkas in the Women's competition with Woodville duo Zahn Anthony and Jonella Weroura scoring hat-tricks in a 51-12 bonus-point win over Barossa.
Souths were also big winners in the Women's competition, racking up 13 tries in a commanding 75-5 results over Port Collegians.
In Reserve Grade, Brighton stretched their unbeaten streak to four games with a 61-5 win over Souths while Barossa remain atop the Third Grade ladder following their 40-19 victory over North Torrens.
