Registrations for the 2023 Rugby Union SA season are now open!

With Australian rugby entering a golden decade including two home World Cups and a Lions Tour in 2025, there’s never been a better time to Get into Rugby.

Registrations for the 2023 season are now open and SA Rugby is urging everyone to sign up with their local rugby club and be a part of something truly special.

“Our passionate rugby community is growing every year and we’ve got big plans for 2023,” SA Rugby administration manager Rose Jackson said.

“We’re looking to build on our 3000 participants across 97 teams last season and towards 5000 participants by 2025.

“With 15 members clubs across Adelaide and surrounds, there’s a place for everyone in SA Rugby.”

Senior competitions will kick off on April 15 with SA Rugby operations manager Chris Graham highlighting the growing women’s competition and representative program.

“We want to develop and promote clear pathways for the whole Rugby community, especially our female players,” Graham said.

“Last year saw eight clubs field a women's side and we’re committed to growing that and ensuring rugby remains a game for everyone in South Australia and across the country.”
