As previously conveyed and with great pleasure I would like to formally welcome our new CEO, Lochie Lawrence starting in his new role on Monday 23rd June. We anticipate a busy round of meet-and-greet opportunities, around the grounds and more formal meetings and I am comforted that all occasions we will make Lochie welcome as he settles into the role. The Festival of Rugby – British and Irish Lions Activity
The excitement builds around the activities leading to and from the Adelaide AUNZ v British and Irish Lions game on the 12th of July, referred as the Festival of Rugby spanning across July 7th to July 13th. Please find attached events flyer highlighting the activities, timing, and fixtures.
The official RUSA British and Irish Lions lunch
Rugby Union South Australia are excited to announce that incoming Australian coach Les Kiss will be a key speaker at the forthcoming British and Lions Lunch in Adelaide. This will be a wonderful chance to hear about the pending match, putting the squad together and what to expect from the game.
Les Kiss will also be joined by Phil Waugh to discuss the Wallabies coaching role appointment along with an AUNZ Players, British Lions officials and players - we're awaiting final confirmation of those participants and will share that will you as soon as we confirm.
We know that club table spots are being determined by each of you but want to encourage you to make your wider rugby community aware of the lunch and how to buy tickets before they sell out. There will be several exciting auction items available which the proceeds will be contributing to help our Black Falcons and Pathways teams.

- Inclusions: 2 course lunch with beverage package
- Price: $250 per ticket or $2500 per table of 10
The lunch is just the start to a busy weekend of Rugby related events in Adelaide - featuring an official golf day with Wallabies and Lions legends, live sites and a darts tournament featuring Australian legend Simon “The Wizard” Whitlock and of course the AUNZ v British and Irish Lions game.
