As we start Season 2022, we acknowledge the lands we play on belong to the Kaurna and Peramangk people.

We pay our respects to their people of the past, present and emerging.

Acknowledgement of Country, Adelaide

We had the pleasure of Kaurna Elder, Uncle Mickey O'Brien, talk to us about the game of Kardi Wapa or Emu Feathers played by his ancestors. We can connect through sport and through culture, we are all brothers and sisters, and we can walk together in harmony.

It is with this in mind that the match balls for season 2022 have been designed showcasing the "Kardi Wapa" or Emu Feathers, as it flies through the air.
