Premier Grade GF - Burnside v Brighton
FULLTIME: Burnside have clinched a 43-21 grand final victory over Brighton!
Despite trailing 21-17 early in the second term, the Double Blues surged late with four tries while keeping the Tigers scoreless for the final half-hour.
EARLIER: Burnside lead Brighton 12-7 following an electric start to the big dance.
Brighton took an early 7-0 lead through Rhys Fishwick, who barged over from close range with Nathan McPherson nailing the conversion in the 7th minute.
But the Tigers' lead didn't last, an overthrown lineout finding Nichel Lam Sam, who beat three defenders before offloading to an unmarked Samuela Tanaki for the simplest of tries.
Burnside doubled down their efforts in the 20th minute with quick hands finding Isaac Allum Henson, who showed great pace to dot down in the far-left corner.

Bailey Reserve will host the Seniors Grand Finals this weekend, as Burnside square off against current minor round premiers Brighton in the Premier Grade.
Burnside are on a high after defeating Brighton in the Qualifying Final, held 2nd September at Elizabeth Rugby Club.
Burnside coach TJ Maualaivao believes his side are yet to hit their stride this season with another grand final showdown against Brighton looming large.
The Double Blues surprised most by toppling the Tigers 27-20 in their major semi-final but Maualaivao says there’s more to build on for Saturday’s big dance.

In the Women's Competition, Woodville will draw inspiration from 150-game hero Abby Chitty and the club's Under 14s premiership success ahead of a maiden senior grand final appearance this Saturday.
The Wasps took the long road to a grand final berth, falling 41-19 to Southern Suburbs before bouncing back with a 40-17 win over Adelaide University in last week's preliminary final.
