Force Academy Coaches
Rugby Union South Australia (RUSA) is inviting Expressions of Interest from experienced, passionate, and driven individuals for key roles in the 2026 Western Force Academy SA.
We are currently seeking applicants for the following positions:
- Assistant Coaches – U16 Boys
- Assistant Coaches – U16/18 Girls
- Manager
These exciting roles are ideal for coaches and rugby leaders who are committed to athlete development, team performance, and contributing to a positive and professional rugby environment.
While these are largely volunteer positions, they offer valuable opportunities for:
- Coaching development & mentorship
- Involvement in elite youth pathways
- Interstate travel
- Team apparel and official recognition
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement training programs
- Lead or assist in match preparation and reviews
- Support player development both on and off the field
- Collaborate closely with RUSA and Western Force Academy staff
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture
Minimum Requirements:
- World Rugby Level 2 Coaching Accreditation (Level 3 desirable)
- Smart Rugby Certification (current)
- Working with Children’s Check (valid)
- Staff Integrity Level 1
- Proven experience working with youth or representative-level players
