RUSA Employment Opportunity | Club Development Officer


Rugby Union SA is the peak body, responsible for the management and growth of the sport of Rugby Union in South Australia. We service our member clubs and affiliates through the provision of competition and operate development programs aimed at increasing the participation of rugby in the state.

There are a growing number of corporate and government stakeholders placing increased demands and expectations on our member clubs to which our clubs need individual assistance or guidance with; from liquor licensing, food hygiene, development of constitutions and creating a child safe environment.


  • Consult with each member club and produce an individualised action plan of items to comply with current government regulations
  • Utilise ‘Game Plan’ to assess each club.
  • Identify short- and long-term action items and follow-up with each club accordingly
  • To create and/or maintain a good relationship with stakeholders.


  • Experience in working with committees and teams
  • Previous knowledge or involvement in government regulations for licensed premises
  • Understanding of government regulations with Child Safe Environments
  • Working with Children check with South Australian Government
  • Current South Australian Driver’s License
