Super Round to Showcase Women's Rugby on 15 August
Women's Rugby will take centre stage on Saturday, 15 August, as RugbySA hosts a Women's Super Round to celebrate the final round of the Womens 2026 regular season.
While our junior and senior men's competitions begin their finals campaigns, our women's competition will play an additional fixture, with Round 10 kicking off from 9:30am. The day presents a fantastic opportunity for the rugby community to come together and recognise the incredible growth and quality of women's rugby across South Australia.
Women's Finals Explained
With the women's competition playing an additional regular season round, the finals series follows a slightly different format.
Following the completion of Round 10:
- The team finishing first on the ladder will earn a direct place in the Grand Final on Saturday, 29 August.
- Second and third place will meet in an Elimination Final on Saturday, 22 August at Brighton Rugby Club, with the winner progressing to the Grand Final.
The format rewards the team that has performed consistently throughout the season while setting up a winner-takes-all clash between second and third for the remaining Grand Final berth.
