Thursday 28th March was the final session for Elizabeth Rugby Union Football Club Get Into Rugby Club Program which saw a group of kids trying out rugby for their very first time.

Training alongside our seasoned veterans, over a five week program, the kids were led by junior Rugby AU qualified coaches Elmas Aslan, Jason Van Dongen and Geoff Dinsdale.

Even better was that many of the kids that participated in the program had so much fun they have now brought their friends out to play rugby. Programs like Get into Rugby have been pivotal to both the junior growth and coach development at the club, and have seen the numbers grow from a small group in a single under 12s team three years ago to almost 80 players in grades from Under 6s right through to Under 16
